The dungeon is Slayers 2’s endgame loop: a repeatable instance that pays in raid points, and raid points are how weapons get upgraded past their base roll. It is also the part of the game most players do not find on their own, because the entrance is not a portal you stumble into — it is behind a forging step.
The level 65 gate
You need level 65. Below that there is nothing to click — the blacksmith who starts the route will not move you along.
How to reach the portal
The route runs through Hidden Mist Village and then teleports you across the map:
- Take the map to the forge NPC. One walkthrough places him under Hidden Mist Village; an independent one describes only “a road on the map that leads up to an NPC” without naming the village. The step is confirmed — the location label is not.
- Talk to him and pick the second dialogue option — your other forge.
- Run the forge step. This is the part that requires level 65.
- You are teleported to Mistfall Harbor Shrine.
- Cross the bridge from the shrine — the portal is on the far side. Both walkthroughs cross a bridge here, and one notes there are two and either works.
- Hold T at the portal to join the dungeon.
- Once you have cleared it the first time, you can enter from the hub instead of re-running the route.
Once unlocked the portal stays on your map, so the first run is the expensive one and every run after it is a teleport.
On the forge NPC’s location: one walkthrough shows the blacksmith under Hidden Mist Village, with the very next step teleporting you to Mistfall Harbor — which is the likely source of older write-ups that place him in the harbor itself. An independent walkthrough confirms the NPC and the forge quest without naming a village. Our weapons and crafting guide still carries the Mistfall wording; the NPC step is solid either way, the village label is not.
What raid points buy
The dungeon counter is the endgame shopping list. These numbers come from a single launch-week creator run — treat them as one player’s reading of the counter, not a published price list:
| Spend | What it gets you |
|---|---|
| 90,000 raid points | Weapon variants — a different stat roll on a weapon you already own |
| 30,000 raid points | Upgrade components used in the forge |
| XP and mastery | Direct purchases — the dungeon is a legitimate leveling and mastery source |
| XP boosters | Multipliers for out-of-dungeon farming |
| Chests | Random gear drops — the least efficient purchase per point |
The headline use is weapon upgrading. Upgrading a weapon from its base roll to +8 is a large power jump that has nothing to do with your level, your clan or your style — which is why the dungeon stays relevant after the level cap.
Build notes
Blood Demon Art builds farm the dungeon noticeably better than the alternatives at launch. If you are planning to live in the instance, that is the strongest documented pick — see the demon arts database for the Blood Manipulation kit and its launch-patch changes.
What the dungeon does not replace
Quest XP is still the fastest route to the level cap, boss quests still pay the best per kill, and the dungeon does not hand out breathing or demon art progression. Treat it as the gear lane of the endgame and pair it with the leveling route in the leveling guide.
FAQ
What level do you need for the dungeon?
Level 65. The forge step that unlocks the portal will not start below it.
How many raid points does a weapon variant cost?
90,000 for a variant, 30,000 for upgrade components. XP, mastery and XP boosters are cheaper per point if you are farming rather than gearing.
Is the dungeon worth farming?
For gear, yes — it is the only documented route to the +8 upgrade tier, and the power it adds is independent of your level or clan. For raw leveling pace, quests and boss quests still beat it.
Sourcing
The level 65 requirement, the forge NPC step, the bridge and portal approach, the T prompt and hub re-entry are confirmed across two independent launch-week walkthroughs (2026-09-20). The raid point prices are a single run’s reading and are labelled as such above. On the instance’s name: two recent videos title it “Ouwigahara” while one video’s auto-captions hear “Aokigahara”, so we use neither as the dungeon’s name — and note that a hub game mode called Ouwigahara also exists on the older Project Slayers wiki, which is a plausible source of the label.
