Slayers 2 map and locations

Where everything is: the region order the quest chain walks you through, every breathing trainer, the quest NPCs, shrine fast travel and both instance entrances.

Slayers 2 Wiki Editors Updated September 20, 2026

Shrines replaced long walks.

Shrines are scattered across the map — roughly one per village — and act as the fast-travel network. If you are stuck somewhere, open the map and teleport to the nearest shrine instead of walking back (creator-documented, launch week). Since the v.07 hotfix (September 19), the starter shrine on Windy Peak is free and auto-unlocked (official announcement).

Region order

The leveling chain walks you through the map roughly west to south. Distances are long enough that unlocking a shrine as you pass it matters — that is what makes the later quest hops cheap. The NPC names written into the rows below carry the same caveat as the quest table further down: they come from one walkthrough's captions and are unverified.

Region Role What is there Gate
Windy Peak Starter village Your spawn. The first quest NPC, Kuray, stands next to the gate; Ra's sword shop sells the early Slayer katanas; and Kazu (right by the sword vendor) hands out the level 26 civilian quest. Level 1-26
Bamboo Grove & the mother-bear cliff Early questing Tom's level 10 bear quest runs here. The mother bear spawns beside the regular bears at level 18 and drops a common chest. The path over the logs from here climbs to the thunder trainer. Level 10-26
Waterfall cave Mid-game farming Under the platform at the waterfall: a cave of level 40 demons — the standard Demon Horn farm, since every demon has a chance to drop one. A boss sits at the back of the cave and the level 75 quest NPC is at the far end of the waterfall. Level 40-75
Seasons Crossing Demon quest hub The level 62 Demon quest NPC is in a house here — you talk to him through the wall. Slayers get their level 62 chain only after clearing Final Selection. Level 62
Iceveil Valley / snow biome Late mid-game The cold deals continuous tick damage, so bring healing. Beast-type demons live here (the source of Beast Cores) and the level 95 Slayer and Demon quest NPCs stand on the same hill, with a level 105 quest up the slope. Level 90-105
Hidden Mist Village Dungeon access The blacksmith underneath the village opens the dungeon route at level 65: pick the second dialogue option (your other forge), run the forge, then take the teleport to Mistfall Harbor. Two walkthroughs confirm the NPC and the forge step but only one names this village, so the label is the soft part of this row. Level 65+
Mistfall Harbor Shrine & instance portal The harbor shrine is the fast-travel anchor for the south-west. The dungeon portal is across the bridge from it. Level 65+
Final Selection Plains Slayer trial Bottom-left of the minimap, reached by following the path past Rengoku. The trial itself is an instanced run — see the Final Selection guide for the gate and the shotgun schematic drop. Level 40-45+
Butterfly Estate Mid-game landmark The estate sits near Iceveil Valley and marks the route into the Final Selection instance. Level 40+

Breathing trainer locations

Every trainer opens at level 25. The cost is what stops you, not the gate: Demon Horns are a roughly 50% drop from any demon, and the price differs per style. Where a launch-week run did not measure a cost we leave the cell as “not published” rather than guess, and where no run showed the trainer's position it reads “not verified” — the trainer and the material cost still stand from the runs that did document them. Full move data lives on the breathing database.

Style Trainer Where Verified cost
Water Breathing Sakonji Urokodaki Near the mother-bear cliff Not published
Flame Breathing Flame trainer Not verified Not published
Thunder Breathing Gramps (Jigoro Kuwajima) Top of the mountain past the Urokodaki waterfall 10 Demon Horns + 6,000 Wen
Wind Breathing Wind trainer Not verified 30 Demon Horns
Sound Breathing Sound trainer Not verified Beast Cores instead of Demon Horns
Insect Breathing Insect trainer Not verified Not published
Stone Breathing Stone trainer Not verified Not published
Serpent Breathing Serpent trainer Not verified Not published

Quest NPCs

The quest chain is linear and each of these hands you the next step. Be aware that the names below are unverified: they come from one walkthrough's auto-generated captions, and nothing else we checked corroborates the spellings. The positions and the quest order are what the walkthrough shows.

NPC Location What they give
Kuray Windy Peak — next to the gate The three opening bandit quests (no level gate)
Ra (sword shop) Windy Peak — middle of the village Buyable early katanas for Slayers
Zuko (boss) Bamboo Grove side of the gate Level 7 quest; drops the Cutlass
Tom Across the gate from the bandit camp Level 10 bear quest (four bears)
Kazu Windy Peak — beside the sword vendor Level 26 civilian quest; completing the chain unlocks breathing
Muzan Villages, daytime — two common spawns near the starter village The Demon transformation quest and Blood Demon Art rolls
Doc Master Sofen Snow region The fishing permit quest — see the fishing guide

Instance entrances

Where the bosses are

Boss spawns sit in almost every region above — Obanai above Bamboo Grove, Zentaro below him near Hidden Mist, Rengoku across the suspension bridge, the Daki and Gyutaro cave behind the waterfall gate, Fujiko in a Final Selection Plains cave and Tengen in the snow town. The full spawn table, including the hidden entries, is on the boss guide.

Sourcing: the region names here match the launch-day documentation already on this wiki (Windy Peak, Mistfall Harbor, Hidden Mist, the ice biome and Final Selection Plains). The quest NPC names, their positions and the level gates come from one launch-week creator walkthrough (2026-09-20) and are labelled unverified where nothing else corroborates them. Shrine fast travel, the thunder trainer's position and the per-style unlock costs come from the same runs; costs are printed only where a run measured them and positions only where a run showed them, so several cells stay marked rather than filled in.
