Slayers 2 updates
Confirmed milestones only: official Discord announcements, change-log posts and release events — anything else is marked inferred.
Slayers 2 just launched and updates fast.
Ouw Posts on the official Discord — codes in #announcements, patch tables in #change-logs. The current cadence: a mini update every two weeks, big updates every 2-3 months (official FAQ), with daily hotfixes during the launch window.
Launch day v0.5 → v0.65 hotfix train
Released at 05:05 UTC, then patched all day: platform control fixes and shift lock for mobile, the Lost Shotgun made obtainable, a Series material exchange shop at the Blacksmith (V.06), BDA orbs now save in your inventory instead of disappearing, Muzan sells the demon orb of your choice directly, and Arena rewards now scale with level (plus 1,000 mastery per win). Evening hotfixes added a toggleable boss bar with a smaller mobile footprint. Compensation codes: EVILARTSPINS (54 spins), SorryForShutdown (39 spins), PointsReset (skill reset).
Launch balance mega-patch
The balancer's launch notes reworked every kit: Wind windups cut across the board, Iguro's speed factor 25% → 5%, Himejima 25% → 20% damage, Kocho poison duration halved, Uzui Enhanced Hearing 20% → 25%, Blood Manipulation's infinite combo removed, and Shockwave gained steerable barrages plus a tap-variant downslam. Full tables on each style page.
Early Access stress test for creators
Content creators got hands on the game about a week before release as the final stress test, per the official release announcement — criticism from that window fed directly into the launch balance patch.
Release date announced: September 18, 4 PM EST
The official announcement set the release window, revealed the first-24-hours group code (join the Ouw Productions group + subscribe to the Roblox release event) and promised a showcase cadence through launch. Slayers 2 went live early on September 19 UTC after final maintenance.
Showcase marathon: every Breathing and Demon Art
Starting August 17 with Flame Breathing, the team published a showcase every three days: two weapons with a Q&A, Temari Evil Art, Wind Breathing, Dream Manipulation, Cryokinesis (Ice), Shockwave and Sound Breathing — building to the launch roster of 8 Breathing Styles and 9 Blood Demon Arts.
Development milestone: trainings and armor complete
Development (started June 2024 per the official FAQ) hit its content milestones through mid-2026: all training systems finished, an armor sneak, and an immersive Final Selection tease — the Slayer entry trial that ships at launch.
