Your clan is the passive engine of your build in Slayers 2 — and it’s rolled, not chosen. This guide covers the ladder, where spins come from, and which results are worth keeping.
The rarity ladder
Community-documented odds from two independent post-launch rankings:
| Tier | Odds | Clans |
|---|---|---|
| Supreme | 0.1% | Kamado, Rengoku, Uzui, Soyama |
| Mythic | 0.9% | Himejima, Iguro, Shinazugawa, Agatsuma, Douma, Tamayo |
| Legendary | 4% | Shabana, Tomioka, Kocho, Ubuyashiki |
| Rare | 12% | Urokodaki, Sabito, Makomo, Yahaba, Susumaru |
| Uncommon | 23% | The five-family: Kaneki, Yamagiri, Kurotsume, Aoshima, Aori |
| Common | 60% | 17 stat-stick clans with no active kit |
The devs haven’t published an official table — but the launch balance patch touched exactly the clans the ladder ranks highly (Uzui, Himejima, Kocho, Iguro, Agatsuma), which is a good smell test.
Where spins come from
- Codes — launch week handed out spins in bulk (54 + 39 from two compensation codes alone). See our codes page for what’s live.
- VIP subscription (150 Robux/month) — includes the Clan Bag and Evil Art Bag draw bags.
- The Supreme shortcut — creator videos note a Supreme clan can be bought outright for about 4,000 spins. That’s a months-long target, not a day-one plan.
Which rolls are worth keeping
Stop on anything Rare or better — Rare clans play to endgame, and Urokodaki is specifically the standout for Water builds (damage bonus, cheaper stamina, faster mastery).
Legendary and up carry identities, not just stats:
- Ubuyashiki — the farmer’s clan (XP and drop-rate bonuses, at the cost of stamina and damage).
- Kocho — wisteria poison on all attacks, though the launch patch halved its duration.
- Shabana — Blood Demon Zone, an area buff for you and your squad.
- Uzui / Himejima / Iguro / Agatsuma — the specialist partners for Sound / Stone / Serpent / Thunder breathing respectively.
Don’t sleep on Uncommon — the five-family reportedly grants a Family Bond bonus when a full squad of them groups up.
What your clan actually gives
Every clan is a package: Buffs (numbers), Perks (actives with cooldowns), Passives (always-on, sometimes with a downside) and on some clans a Mode (a charged state). They’re also tagged by type — Ascendant, Sentinel, Duelist, Titan, Technician, Phantom or Tank — which is the fastest way to read a clan’s job before you roll it away.
FAQ
What’s the best clan in Slayers 2?
Supreme tier by the numbers: Kamado (Sun mastery, sun resistance), Rengoku (+20% Flame damage), Uzui (damage tracking) and Soyama. But a Rare with a kit that matches your breathing beats a Mythic you can’t build around.
Should I reroll my Common clan?
Yes — Common clans are pure stat sticks. Spend launch-week code spins until you land Rare or better.
Can I buy a specific clan?
Only Supreme, per creator documentation — about 4,000 spins direct. Everything else is luck and codes.
Do clan odds change?
The balance patch already rebalanced clan passives once (Iguro’s speed, Himejima’s damage, Kocho’s poison). Odds themselves are community-reported, not official.
